Queensland Government Extinguishes Native Title for Adani coalmine

Over the weekend, the Wangan and Jagalingou people have discovered that the Queensland Government has quietly extinguished the native title rights for their land in favour of the Adani coal mine.
Although in a statement to The Wire, Adani has claimed that a majority are in favour of the Carmichael project coming in to their land, many living there disagree, and are still protesting the proposed damage to their land.
