Overcrowding is quickly becoming an issue in Queensland prisons. According to data from the Corrective Services Department, the number of inmates has been rising by more than 100 per month.
The Queensland Government’s war on crime has been well-publicised and now the results can be seen. Not necessarily in the form of safer streets, but definitely in the number of prisoners in Queensland prisons.
