The Queensland Greens have announced a new plan to implement rent caps and long-term leases for greater renter protection. According to Greens candidate for McConnel, Kirsten Lovejoy, the plan was designed to protect renters from being evicted on the spot while also allowing them to ignore the often unreasonable rules set upon them.
