QANTAS pilots threatened by plans for outsourcing

The strike has impacted over six thousand passengers in airports across Australia, with 55 flights cancelled or delayed. The company’s efforts to lower costs also means looking overseas to outsource pilots, causing Qantas pilots to lock heads with management over the issue.

Over four thousand Qantas ground staff have walked off the job today, pushing for a pay rise and better job conditions.
