As the same sex marriage debate continues, Australian Christian Lobby director Lyle Shelton said on yesterday’s Buzzfeed News podcast “Is It On?“, that gay conversion therapy, a practice contested by most mental health professionals, could be used on minors if their parents approved.

Ben Gresham, a former participant in gay conversion therapy, spoke with Danielle Daley about the negative impact this treatment had on his mental health as a teenager.
