While a mass hunger strike of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails ended yesterday, in Sydney a rally to commemorate Al Nakba – Palestinian’s day of dispossession – is going ahead, despite attempts by NSW Police to block it on grounds of disruption to traffic.

The Supreme Court yesterday ruled that the rally should be allowed.
