For the eighteenth year the Remote Indigenous Media Festival is bringing together delegates from Broome to Cairns and everywhere in between for a week of learning and networking. The theme of the event is ‘Our Stories from the Home of Land Rights’. The National Remote Indigenous Media Awards are held as as part of the festival, celebrating high achievements in the sector

This year’s event is being held in Yirrkala on the coast of Arnhem Land and has been co-hosted by the Indigenous Remote Communications Authority and the Top End Aboriginal Bush Broadcasting Association.
