The US economy has been falling flat the past few weeks, with the Dow Jones falling 1,312 points between the 30th July and 16th August. This has had severe consequences for markets around the world including Australia’s ASX 200, which lost 3.2% of its value last Thursday.
Associate Professor of Economics at Monash University Mark Crosby says that further tensions between the US and China could damage the global economy further.
