13 years ago to the day, a young aboriginal man died while cycling through the suburb of Redfern in Sydney.
The Coroner James Abernethy ruled his death as a “freak accident”, but the family of T.J Hickey, and their supporters claim that his death was no such thing.
Today, like every February 14th since 2004, the family took to the streets to fight for Justice, this time in the pouring rain.
