The count finalised at the end of last week in the Polish Presidential elections final round, with incumbent President Andrzej Duda just getting ahead of last minute opposition candidate Rafal Trzaskowski in the final round of voting.
This could mean more anti-LGBT laws which are popular in the eastern parts of the country. It could also lead to conflict with liberal EU policies although there is broad support of EU inclusion in Poland.
