Philip Glass Trilogy receives world premiere in Adelaide

He might be most well-known for his award-winning film scores, but Philip Glass is actually considered one of the most influential music makers of the late 20th century. The State Opera of South Australia will next month play host to the world’s first performance of the entire Glass opera trilogy, almost four decades after the works were originally written. Two orchestras, a dance troupe and a massive vocal ensemble will help bring to life the stories of Pharaoh Akhnaten, Einstein and Gandhi.
