A palliative care conference in Cairns today has looked at the issues around death and dying and just how good we are at helping people die the way they would like to.
Hundreds of experts from around the world have gathered in Cairns for the eleventh national palliative care conference, the first time the biennial event has taken place outside a capital city. The focus on this year’s event has been on getting Australians to start having conversations about where they want to die.
