The number of people experiencing homelessness in Australia rising at an alarming rate. Over 100 thousand people are roughing it on the streets or couch surfing every night, and more and more of them are women.
The Wire spoke with Andrew Everingham, Founder of Sydney Homeless Connect, about why homelessness is on the rise and what the government is- and isn’t- doing about it.
