To commemorate World Mental Health Day, The Wire is examining the unaddressed problems of workplace-related stress, toxicity, and anxiety for employees diagnosed or affected with a mental health condition.

The Mental Health Coalition of South Australia (MHCSA), through funding from SA Health and the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist, has established an initiative called the Lived Experience Workforce Program.

The program was devised to provide peer support, mentoring, supervision, access to information, effective training and recruitment for the development and growth of South Australia’s non-Government (NGO) mental health sector.
