Polluted water has plagued Pandanus Park for over ten years

The rural community of Pandanus Park in Western Australia has been given support by a New South Wales charity in the form of a water filtration system, which offers a solution to the town’s toxic water problem.

The Yaru Foundation donated the system which has given the community access to clean water for the first time in fifteen years, and they hope it will prevent further nitrate-related health issues.

There are still improvements to be made though, and the locals are hoping the government will come to the table to provide more support
