There is a rise of children and adults affected by food allergies.

The National Allergy Strategy launched a life-saving online tool today, to help hospitality workers better cater for people with allergies to foods like peanuts, eggs and fish.

Anybody suffering from a food allergy will know the great anxiety it can cause. From forensically examining food packaging to having to repeatedly ask restaurant staff detailed questions about ingredients.

The program is free and available to everyone and hopes to reduce the number of hospital admissions and deaths related to food allergies, each year.
