The cost to keep people in detention centres on Manus and Nauru has reached $574,000 per person annually, and it’s the taxpayer that’s having to cop the bill.

CEO and Founder of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre Kon Karapanagiotidis, believes that the average Australian doesn’t know where their tax is going, and furthermore, questions if the money is even going there.
