Nothing about us without us: Anti-Poverty conference hears from people living below the line

Living in cars, low self-esteem and missing meals are just a few of the issues faced by people living on the lowest of incomes in Australia.

Their voices were heard today at Anti Poverty Network SA‘s annual conference.

All agreed that Newstart needs to be lifted to give people dignity and capability to thrive and also to provide the very basics of life: food, shelter and warmth.
