#NotaDoleBludger Newstart recipients face hardship

According to the 2019 Australian Bureau of Statistics there are far more unemployed people searching for jobs than there are jobs available and may require monetary assistance when job seeking.
The #NotaDoleBludger trended on Twitter after comments made by Channel 7’s Sunrise called welfare recipients dole bludgers after a report suggested more than 75 per cent had had their payments suspended at least once.
People took to twitter to describe having their payments suspended for allegedly unfair reasons such as being unable to attend meetings due to sickness or due to administrative errors that were no fault of their own.
