The High Court has today delivered a landmark judgement that recognises sex other than male or female. The case, put forward by a transgender Sydneysider known as Norrie, means NSW citizens now have the right to not have their sex specified on their birth certificates. The decision is being hailed a a victory for gender diverse people across Australia.
