New law in bid to stop pregnant women from drinking

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand are pushing forward its proposal for the alcohol industry to be forced to have mandatory  pregnancy warning labels on their beverages.

The labels are to help women make informative discussions on the harmful effects drinking has on their unborn child, as a significant amount of Australian women still drink during their pregnancies.

However, the labels are causing a great divide between health experts and businesses in Australia.
