Crypto currencies, which are currencies based solely online, have become increasingly popular since their invention back in 2009. Bit Coin was the first digital currency to become widely available, and countless alternatives have since emerged. Now the newest coin to be collected in digital wallets across the globe is called Solar Coin. This online currency is a bit different, due to a solar powered twist. The coin rewards solar panel owners for going green and pays them for the production of solar power.
