New agreement set to allow uranium sales to Europe

The Federal Government has announced plans to renew an agreement which would allow the sale of uranium, this time, to Europe.

They say the agreement, known as Euratom, will safeguard the use of uranium for peaceful purposes. But the proposal has come under fire from the Greens, who believe the agreement shouldn’t be renewed at all.
