Mohammed Sagar is the leftover of a five year old Australian crisis and the Australian government thought they’d seen the end of him when they sent him to Nauru as part of the pacific solution. But, now Mr Sagar is causing them problems again, fuelled by demands from the Nauru Foreign Affairs Minister. Nauru has upped the VISA fees paid by Australia to keep Mr Sagar on the island and they say its to encourage the Australian government to find a more ethical solution to Mr Sagar’s case.
