Current Australian culture has seen us wrap our kids in cotton wool more than previous generations and the cracks are beginning to show. Child development experts across the world say it has gone too far and we should start to consider the benefit of letting our kids take risks. They say it is only through taking risks and making mistakes that we develop the skills of resilience, problem solving and persistence.

Locally, Nature Play organisations have started in South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland to encourage families to get outdoors and have fun.
