The Gallery’s Ian Potter Centre has launched its ‘Land Mark’ exhibition exploring the history of Indigenous Art. It’s timed to coincide with Melbourne’s Commonwealth Games and seeks to draw an international crowd. This display features 230 works and identifies important moments in the history of Indigenous art, paying homage to legendary Aboriginal artists. The Wire spoke to Judith Ryan, senior curator of Indigenous Art at the National Gallery of Victoria.
