NAIDOC Week is in full swing with events all over the country, bringing people together to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This year’s theme is the ‘Spirit of the Tent Embassy: 40 Years On’.

Associate Professor Irene Watson, from UniSA’s David Unaipon College of Indigenous Education and Research, was there at the very first Tent Embassy in Adelaide back in 1972.
