“Because of her, I can!” is the motto for this year’s NAIDOC Week, as people around the country will be celebrating the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women who are role models and community leaders.
Dr. Lynette Riley is a committee member for NAIDOC, and she recounts the women who inspired her, and how she inspires the next generation through her love of teaching.
