The results of the first round of voting for the French Presidential election have seen Macron and LePen take the lead. Independent candidate Emmanuel Macron and French National Leader Marine LePen will go head to head in the second round in May. In an unusual turn, neither candidate has a base in the legislature. This means France could be facing a President who is at odds with its Parliament.
