Live animal exports was a hot topic leading up to the Federal Government election last week.

The Labor party was vocal about what they would do should they be elected, sparking hope that live sheep exports would be banned over a period of 5 years.

However, the Coalition has been quiet about their plans for the industry.

Experts are calling for a reform, saying the government needs to do more.
