The Koori Court system offers a different kind of court process to Aboriginal offenders, giving them a chance to work with support services and their community to solve problems that led to them offending. The model has expanded from Victoria, and a Youth Koori Court has been operating in Western Sydney since 2015. A new report shows promising progress for the young people who have passed through its doors.
