The Federal Government has chosen the Kimba farm of Napandee to host the nuclear dumping ground.

The mayor of Kimba Dean Johnson is sure that the site will be a benefit to the community with the economic sweetener of federal grants. He also believes the facility could be a tourist attraction but the Barngala people and many of the community remain opposed to it. The Barngala say they will continue their court action against the dump decision.
