It’s a shocking statistic – the incidence of end stage kidney disease is up to 15 times higher in Indigenous Australians, than it is in non-Indigenous Australians. But a new study has found that Australia’s current system of testing kidney function, is not only an accurate way to test Indigenous kidney disease patients, but will also help to make the treatment they receive better.
