The United Nations Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions has released a report implicating high level Saudi Arabian government officials, including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi last year.

Also today, the Dutch-led Joint Investigations Team into the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 has announced charges against four individuals in relation to the incident.

But with prosecutors in one country and suspects in another, will any of these accusations ever result in a conviction?
