The decommissioned Ranger Uranium mine, in Kakadu National Park, needs to be returned to pristine landscape in the next 6 years

After 40 years Ranger Uranium Mine is preparing to completely close operations and begin the task of remediating the landscape. Their deadline is 2026 but Mirrar traditional owners are concerned that the company  may not be able to meet that date, leaving  them with a liability.
