Jailed faith healer John of God faces further investigation

An internationally reknowned Brazilian ‘spiritual healer’ Joao Teixeira de Faria, known as ‘John of God’ who has been jailed for crimes of sexual abuse, faces further investigation over allegations of money laundering.

He has been in jail since December 16 last year.

His followers came from all over the world including Australia seeking cures for severe medical conditions and guidance for their own faith healing practices.
