The popularity of online shooter games has seen the rise of third party sites that enable young people access into a high stakes gambling culture where in game items can be bid and traded for real world currency. This has drawn the attention of both anti-gambling advocates and politicians who don’t like the ease at which people can bid  upwards of $1000.
