Greenpeace has accused the fast food giant KFC of trashing tropical rainforests in Asia. The environmental campaign group recently released a report called “How KFC is Junking the Jungle.” It claims the company’s packaging is sourced from timber in Indonesian rainforests, pushing endangered animals like the Sumatran Tiger towards extinction.

KFC Australia declined to be interviewed, but in a statement they said they were committed to ensuring the sustainability of the environment, and that all their Australian packaging is made from sustainable timbers.
