Australians are switching over to digital radio faster than expected, with thousands of new cars – where a lot of radio listening happens – being fitted with the technology. But while digital trials are being conducted in some regional areas, so far digital has only been rolled out in capital cities across the country. So when will regional Australia find out if they get a bite of the digital spectrum? And will community radio be included in plans for roll out?
