The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons have released a report revealing current close the gap implementation plans are not helpful to Indigenous children living with an inner ear disease called Otitis Media.

Childhood inner ear disease has been linked to adult hearing impairment, which can lead to a range of social issues among the indigenous people who are living with Otitis Media.
