Indonesian military threatens to sue journalist

Allan Nairn is an investigative journalist who has uncovered links between the 2009 killings of 8 Aceh activists and the Indonesian military. He says he has been censored during a TV interview during which he planned to name names, and the military have threatened to sue him for criminal libel. He welcomes a trial as he says it would give him a chance to put military officials in the witness stand . He would also use it as a opportunity to highlight the role of the US and Australia in continuing to train Kopassus forces.
