This week, the mainstream media reported on Aboriginal leader Warren Mundine’s comments that Indigenous people are not speaking out about family violence.

The comments fly in the face of advocacy, intervention programs, education and reporting for governments that has been produced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people for decades.
