The future of the Indigenous Land Corporation (ILC) is being threatened after Minister for Indigenous Affairs, Nigel Scullion, announced a review into its effectiveness. Today, a collection of well-known advocates who fought for land rights following Mabo have gathered in Canberra today to discuss the future of ILC.
The review has proposed that the ILC be amalgamated with Indigenous Business Australia, but leaders say this may compromise the ILC’s achievements.
