Indigenous Australians urged to enrol

At each election Indigenous Australians are under represented.
Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people are urged to utilise their right to vote, as Indigenous Australians did not have equal voting rights until 1962.
The federal election will be held on Saturday 2nd July – all Australian citizens aged 18 or over are required to enrol or update their details before 8pm Monday 23rd May.
