Many workplaces aim to create a diverse community of employees and those with a focus on a culture of inclusion supported by strong policies have shown benefits for both employers and employees.

These benefits are outlined in the Inclusion@Work Index produced by the Diversity Council.

But, the research also revealed high levels of workplace discrimination reported by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It’s a problem that has also been identified in the broader community by Reconciliation Australia.
