Three Australian peak bodies for consumers of mental health have today released a joint paper expressing serious concerns about the Federal Government’s controversial My Health Record system.

Shauna Gaebler from Consumers of Mental Health WA spoke to The Wire about the risks this would pose to patients’ privacy and the right to give informed consent.

She says ‘if you’re in doubt, opt out.’
