Instant cash loan machines that resemble ATMs are popping up in parts of New South Wales.

These loan machines need nothing but identification and bank details before the user receives almost instantaneous approval for a loan.

Concerns have been raised that these machines are targetting the vulnerable – disadvantaged people and people from lower socio-economic areas, who may take out a loan and then later be trapped in deep debt.
