Driverless cars set to cause more congestion not less

Driverless cars may very well become a common practice for Australian roads in the near future, but a study by the University Of Adelaide suggests it’s not going to be an easy transition.

Fears expressed to researchers by drivers about giving up their cars or being expected to share rides could foreshadow more traffic than ever as the roads become a mix of human and machine controlled vehicles.
