The High Court decision on citizenship for the 7 MP’s with dual -citizenship issues caught the Prime Minister out on Friday, particularly with the Government losing its lower house majority and his Deputy Prime Minister, Barnaby Joyce who now is recontesting his seat of New England in a by election.
For the many Senators however, like Deputy Nationals Leader Fiona Nash, there is no way back, as the Senate seat will be allocated to the next in line from the Senate ticket at the last election.
How will this all pan out?
