Earlier in the week, The Wire discussed the economic and environmental impacts of wind turbines. Now we’re going to find out more about the two very different, very vocal arguments about the health implications. That is the sound of a wind turbine. It’s a little noise that’s causing a lot of headaches. Despite being a realistic, clean alternative to dirtier energy sources like coal and liquefied natural gas, there is still a definite question mark over the place of wind farms in our energy grid. That question mark comes in the form of the health implications for people living near the turbines.
